Masaryk Commercial Academy establishes foreign contacts
In January 2001 the representative of MOA, Ms B. Frýbová took part in a European contact seminar in Rumania. That
event was organized within the activities of the educational programme of the European Union - Socrates. It
to support further education, language learning & intercultural education at schools.
On the basis of the presented projects there was established the cooperation with a
Belgian school Sint-Jozefinstituut from Kontich.
The school itself has a similar orientation as our academy, they teach tourism as we do.
For the next school year the students' exchanges are planned. First, 19 Belgian students will arrive & stay between 13 th and 20 th October 2001. And then 19 Czech students will go to Belgium on 20 th to 24 th April 2002.
Within the framework of this exchange various sports & cultural events & sightseening of the region & Praque will take place. Students will improve their communication skills both in German & English. At the same time they will work on the common project called "Consumer & travel habits of young people". The exchange & project work will be supported financially by some Czech & Belgian
